Fire in Luton But the main item of interest is that this is the first regular meeting on the Michael Sawyer Lodge of Reunion No 9848. It meets in Luton. Also you will see that it meets on a Saturday at 10.45 am. The Lodge has been formed so that elderly or infirm Masons in that area, can be brought to a Masonic meeting and not having to stay out late. |

Another family affair! W Bro Bob Ratcliffe (far right) visits the Theodore White Temperance Lodge No 3795 to see his son Guy (middle left) initiated. Guy was proposed by W Bro Ron Baker (Left). The ceremony was conducted by W Bro Les Jeffries (middle right) in his last meeting before installing his son Martin in the chair in October. This continues a 200 year unbroken history in Freemasonry for the Ratcliffe family. Welcome to the lodge! |

On the 11th October 2008 after being installed as Master of the Theodore White Temperance Lodge, Les Jeffries installed his two sons Martin and Steve as Senior and Junior Wardens. A proud moment for Les and very rare event in Freemasonry.
Les was first installed as master of the Theodore White Temperance Lodge in 1981. We would all like to wish you the very best for your year in office!

Fire in Devon Ron Baker is off to Devon in March to deliver a lecture on "The History of Masonic Fire". He will be visiting The Lodge of Harmony No. 372, Budleigh Salterton on Wed 12 Mar 2008. Ron has also delivered this lecture twice in Slough and once in Marlow so far this year.
Not only is this lecture entertaining it is very informative, if you haven't had the opportunity to see Ron in action I am sure he will be only to happy to let you know when he is hosting an event a little closer to home.

Wexham Park Lodge 8171.
The total attendance for the meeting was in excess of 90 with one individual coming all the way from New Zealand! "Thanks Mick for the invitation we all had a great time!" |
